Description of activity: It has an important place in manufacturing of jacquard woven and knit bed linens through the Kayseri branch and upholstery and curtain fabrics through the Bursa branch. It is a supplier to the biggest companies in the furniture and home textile sectors thanks to the quality of its production and the technologies employed. Before long, it has become the preferred supplier of world leaders, and its factories in both Bursa and Kayseri have ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates.

 

Since commencement of production with 24 machines, the company has constantly increased capacity in response to the needs of the markets, and in 2009, it has increased capacity by 25% in woven fabrics, 15% in knit fabrics, and 10% in upholstery fabrics in its Bursa branch, also starting the production of curtain fabrics, after 10 million US dollars of investment.

 

Boyteks Kayseri facilities export nearly 72% of its bed linen production, offering 28% to the domestic markets. The Bursa facilities meet the majority of the fabric needs of Turkey's leader companies, and the 42% of production were exported in 2009 while 58% was sold to domestic firms.

The company's 2008 exports reached 63,600,000 US dollars and 73,100,000 US dollars in 2009.

According to the results of a research study by the Turkish Exporters Association, Boyteks was in 143rd place in 2009 export ranking and ranked 285th in the Fortune 500 list of ISO in 2009.
